I posted this a few days ago and this gentleman criticized me for my comment or status saying it was prideful to think we can be pure. He said only Jesus is pure and our purity will come from him alone not in ourselves. He implied in his statement that I was saying Jesus is only coming for those who have good works. Let me say, I am not one who believes we are saved by our works, I know it's by GRACE. I recognize fully that salvation comes through my accepting Jesus as my saviour, recognizing it's his BLOOD that cleanses me of all my sins.
However, the gentleman read things into my statement that are not there. I concluded in his statement that he believes the WHOLE church will be raptured because it is not based on works. Well, that is true, it's not based on the works of our FLESH but on the WORKS of the HOLY SPIRIT that is at WORK within US, that is if we are BORN AGAIN in the SPIRIT of GOD allowing the SPIRIT to do his work in us. I'm not here to say who is and who is not born again. I will speak on that more a little later.
[ROMANS 8:8-9, 14,16,27 HCSB] 8 Those who are in the FLESH CANNOT PLEASE GOD. 9 You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, since the SPIRIT of God LIVES in you. But if anyone DOES NOT have the Spirit of Christ, he DOES NOT BELONG to Him.
14 All those led by God's Spirit are God's sons. ... 16 The SPIRIT Himself testifies TOGETHER with OUR SPIRIT that WE ARE God's children, ... 27 And He who searches the hearts knows the Spirit's mind-set, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
I regret that I took offense and really went off in my replies though I used the scriptures to prove my points. I took his comment as a personal assault on me. I admit I overreacted. I apologize to anyone who saw my comments that I had to erase because I don't want anything on my page to distract from the message of love that I promote for God's kingdom. My posts are set for the public, for the purpose of seeking out those who may be lost and are seeking for the Lord and the truth of His WORD.
I'm not apologizing for standing up for what I believe in but it's for the spirit that came forth that overshadowed my comment. Having said that, my comment here and now is for the person who started to think his way of thinking was right. Let me tell you, don't fall for it, it's a trap of the enemy.
Jesus is COMING back for a PURE BRIDE and she will LOOK QUITE DIFFERENT from the LUKEWARM unfaithful bride church. You will recognize her by the FRUIT she bears, by the BANNER of LOVE the bridegroom covers her with. SHE LOVES holiness, righteousness, justice and mercy. Yes of course it's through Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith that will FINISH and COMPLETE the WORK he is doing in each one of us to make his PURE BRIDE.

The Holy Spirit cleanses us with the REFINING FIRE removing the dross, the dead works as we SUBMIT ourselves to the PROCESS. It's an ONGOING process where we are all in different phases of the process. God himself will be the ONE to say who is and who is not of the FAITHFUL BRIDE. His SPIRIT will testify with OUR SPIRIT as to whether we are INDEED born again.
If you are a born again Christian, with the fire of the Holy Spirit in you, there's no way you will remain the same person. It's a work in us the Lord does of purifying our hearts but as I mentioned we have to SUBMIT to HIM, in order for him to do the work in us.

She wants to DRAW CLOSE to GOD. WE can only draw close through SUBMISSION, submitting our will for God's will to be done in our life. Yes, she wants to be PURE of Heart because she knows the PURE of Heart will see God.

There's good reason why the last two churches listed in Revelation 3 are the churches of PHILADELPHIA, the FAITHFUL BRIDE church and the church of LAODECIA, the UNFAITHFUL church. I challenge you to read the book of Revelation, it is one of the most inspiring books of the bible in my opinion, especially for the faithful bride.
The church of Philadelphia likes what he, the bridegroom likes, she hates evil and everything this world has to offer like he does. She refuses to dance with the devil as the harlot bride church of Laodicea, the LUKEWARM church is doing.
There is a PURE bride, a small REMNANT group who will remain faithful until Jesus returns. No one appreciates GRACE more than the faithful bride church of Philadelphia and it's because of GRACE she desires to PLEASE the LORD in all she does.
[PROVERBS 8:13 NASB] 13 "The FEAR of the LORD is to HATE EVIL; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverted mouth, I HATE.

When you fall in love with someone, you look for all the ways you can please them simply because you LOVE them. If we being imperfect can love someone enough to overlook their shortcomings, surely God will overlook our shortcomings. Yes, he will. It is the willful sinners, those who choose to do their own thing, loving this world which automatically makes them an enemy of God, enjoying the evil perverse entertainment of this world when we know it displeases God because he HATES evil.

How would you interpret Jesus word to the LUKEWARM church that he's going to SPIT them out of his mouth...DOES that SOUND like he's going to take them in the RAPTURE? Does that SOUND like he's going to GATHER them to be with him when the TRUMPET sounds?
