Storm on the Horizon (Word received August 25, 2016)
As soon as I woke up this morning I heard the Lord clearly say, read Isaiah 26. I had no idea what Isaiah 26 was about. I was more convinced than ever that I had just heard the Lord speak to me after reading it. These two verses spoke to me deeply for it is my daily heart cry, can you relate too?
[Isaiah 26:8-9 NLT] 8 LORD, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart's desire is to glorify your name. 9 All night long I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek for God. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right.
It's a reassuring message of God's love for us and it speaks of his promise to protect those who are faithful to him. We are not appointed to his wrath. It also speaks directly to those who are not trusting in God or obeying him from their heart.
[Isaiah 26:10-11 NLT] 10 Your kindness to the wicked does not make them do good. Although others do right, the wicked keep doing wrong and take no notice of the LORD's majesty. 11 O LORD, they pay no attention to your upraised fist. Show them your eagerness to defend your people. Then they will be ashamed. Let your fire consume your enemies.
I want to highlight the concluding verses which summarize the focal points. They speak volumes for themselves. There will be joyous times for some but unfortunately there is a storm on the horizon for the world.
[Isaiah 26:19-21 NLT] 19 But those who die in the LORD will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead!
20 Go home, my people, and lock your doors! Hide yourselves for a little while until the LORD's anger has passed.
21 Look! The LORD is coming from heaven to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will no longer hide those who have been killed. They will be brought out for all to see.
Soon afterwards, the Lord gave me a Word expounding on what was on his heart and what He wanted me to relay as far as this message goes. There are lots of scriptures for reference at the end of the message.
Where is your FEAR of ME
Wait on the Lord for He is good to you. [Psalm 37:34 KJV] 34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see [it]. Why do you raise red flags that are opposing me. These are idols in your heart used to signal who you really are and what you stand for.
[Ezekiel 14:7-8 KJV] 7 For every one ...., which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, .....
Many hearts are unforgiving, far from me being full of hate, bitterness, and bigotry. My children you are different shades of color, of different ethnicities but you are ALL my creation, created in MY image. The world is watching you but what many of you have failed to realize is this, that I AM watching you. Where is your fear of ME? The enemy is manipulating many hearts to hate instead of love. You must each examine your hearts to know where I stand on the issues confronting you. I am the only answer to your problems in this world.
[Galatians 5:15 NLT] 15 But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.
[1Peter 3:12 NLT] 12 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil."
Surrender your hearts with the banner of love upon your flagstaff. I didn't know what flagstaff meant so I looked it up. (Flagstaff means pole, it is the means by which we hold up the banner of love). Jesus carries the banner of love over his bride church though He is the banner of love himself. He is also the pole that holds the banner. Hold and wave your banner of love says the Lord to pursue peace with me. You must pursue peace with all your brothers and sisters first before I accept your signal of love towards me.
[Psalm 34:14 NIV] 14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it..
Open your hands to give to the poor, help those who cannot help themselves. Allow no room for evil, do not compromise your faith. This world is passing away. I will do away with all wickedness. It is a new day coming, a new era is about to begin leading to the demise of all who love this world of sin. It will mean the death of all who oppose my coming saith the Lord. There is no peace for the wicked. Stay in your homes and wait til my judgement passes over this wicked generation.
[Malachi 3:5 NIV] 5 "So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me," says the LORD Almighty.
Seek ME, Resist EVIL
Nothing will ever surpass or compare to what I am about to do. It is a unique day. Some will see me and find me in their chamber closet. I want to be found by all but not all want to find me. They only look to themselves to find in the end they were trapped by their own wayward thinking and selfish desires. They eat well but are always hungry never really satisfied. They are dying a slow spiritual death unawares. They have made a pact with death saying it will never come near me. But it will come upon you as a snare, snatching you into it's grip.
Repent my people who are called by my name. I am beginning with you because you know better. You know that I am a God who is holy. My Word is pure and unadulterated, being sacred just as my people are to me. My blood covers your sins as it was poured out for you. But it is not for you to take for granted and trample under feet. My promises from long ago will soon come to pass. You will see with your eyes the dead come to life as your mortal bodies are changed in an instant. The time is near, the clock is ticking towards the final count down.
[Hebrews 10:29 NLT] 29 Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God's mercy to us.
Serious times are ahead for those who are stubborn in heart. For those who are smart in their own eyes. For those who will seek me with all their heart I will be found. Read my Word. Seek me for yourself and find me. Love one another as I have loved you. It covers a multitude of sins. There are no divisions among my people. I didn't say there SHOULD be no divisions among my people. I say, "There ARE NO DIVISIONS AMONG MY PEOPLE". Period. Love is color blind.
(My comment: We must not take the BAIT of Satan. I just had a lesson in this from a study done at church recently based on John Bevere's book. Taking offense is a bait trap I have easily fallen into too many times so I'm working hard on not being so quick to take offense and more importantly to not hold onto it.)
Resist the spirit of offense, hatred, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, pride and greed. Also resist the spirits of lust and sexual immorality which is debauchery. Debauchery is excessive indulgence in sensual pleasures engulfed in perversions, iniquity, wickedness, promiscuity and lewdness. Instead take the hand of my Holy Spirit. Let me guide you and teach you in the way of LOVE. Love and pray for those who hate you and persecute you. You will be challenged in how you love more and more these days.
LOVE the Ultimate Test
This is the ultimate test of your faith for many. For all will know you are my disciples not by your gifts and talents, nor by your ministry, your position on the corporate ladder, the size of your bank account, your house, the car you drive or any of your material possessions. You will not be known as my disciple by who you know or rub elbows with. It is only by the LOVE you have among yourselves.
2Corinthians 8:8 NLT] 8 I am not commanding you to do this. But I am testing how genuine your love is by comparing it with the eagerness of the other churches.
[1John 3:14, 16 NLT] 14 If we love our Christian brothers and sisters, it proves that we have passed from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead. ... 16 We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
Real LOVE is not PRETENTIOUS. You cannot give something you don't have. You must have my HOLY SPIRIT. I am the only way, truth and life. Wait for ME. Keep WATCHING. I AM COMING SOONER than SOON! Your Lord Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Maschiach)
