Love Should Compel Us To Warn The Wicked
Ezekiel 33: 8-9 tells me that I must warn the wicked to repent or else God will require their blood from my hands. That's pretty serious. I must obey God in warning the wicked BUT I believe and I am led by the holy spirit to do it out of love. Someone I know recently spoke about why they are warning the wicked about the consequences of their sinning. They gave the analogy of the Titanic which I thought was a perfect analogy.
If you know the titanic is about to go down and sink, wouldn't you warn people to save their life by telling them about the fact that the boat is sinking but arriving boats of safety have arrived to take them to safety. Jesus is the ark(boats) of safety. You've seen the water slowly coming in the ship but they don't believe you when you tell them about the inevitable danger of the boat sinking.
It's love though that compels you and I to warn the people of the impending catastrophe coming upon this earth if they don't get off the boat or out of this world of sin. Not only will they die if they refuse to get on the ark of safety but they will spend eternity in hellfire, a place that was created for the devil and his demons. But because they continue to rebel against God as Satan and the demons have they will end up in the same place.
I'm Just A Sinner Saved By Grace
I know that I am a sinner saved only by the blood of Jesus and his grace. Knowing this reminds me that I have no right to judge anyone. God and his Word does all the judging. I'm just a messenger saved by the blood of Jesus. Also Ezekiel 33:8-9 compels me to warn the wicked else their blood is on my hands. So that makes it even more compelling that I warn the wicked not just out of love for my neighbor but because God demands that I do so.
Tell me this, how could you not be on fire for God and the Lord's return. What does this world have to offer that's better than what is waiting for us in heaven. God loved us so much that he sent his only begotten son to die a cruel death so that we could be free to live a life free from the bondage of sin now and life eternal in paradise. All we have to do is accept the Lord's gift of life.
Then we must repent of our sins daily and ask the Lord to cleanse our heart, purify us if we are wanting to get REAL with God. Stop the playing around. We must not play around with the Lord. He sees everything anyway. I know, I played around for a long time and finally I realized I had to give everything to him. I had to fully submit my will for his will.
Bottom line coming COMPLETELY out of the world is the bottom line and each person will know what it will take for them to know that they are truly out of the world. It took me a long time to come out of the world completely. I kept leaving and going back and leaving and going back.
It was the worldly entertainment that had me in it's clutches but once I stopped entertaining myself with any worldly entertainment of any kind I knew I was out of the world. No more TV or movies for me. No games, no worldly events, celebrations, etc. Thing is, time is running out. Leave now while it is still time. You will feel so much closer to God once you do.
The lukewarm church has embraced the spirit of the world so it's not surprising the immoral things Christians are watching on TV and the movies. It was not that long ago I was watching them. No one may know what you are watching in the privacy of your home but remember that God knows and the enemy knows. You will answer to one or the other.
