Christ Is Not Divided

Original Word given April 10 2015
(Bringing back to the top)
LOVE is the WAY to my HEART
Carry on children with your lives and LOVE one another as I have repeatedly told you through my true prophets. By their fruit you will know them (my disciples). You will know them by their humility. When they make a mistake they admit it, repent and move on. Forgive quickly. Stop the preoccupation feeling you have to point out every little flaw of your brother when you have a plank in your own eye. Stop judging one another. Stop the divisions.

This is important. I am coming SOON for you ALL!  I tarry no more. The time is near and at hand.

My comments:
The Lord put this on my heart to post this morning though he gave me this word back in April. I don't know why I didn't post it sooner. Guess it just got misplaced or something. Whatever he gives me it applies to me first and foremost.  Christ is not divided and will not stand to be divided. There's only ONE body of Christ. We must love each other and bear with each other.  Some want to take sides with this person against another person at the expense of excluding our other brothers and sisters.

Do we really think Jesus is leading us in these ways. Some are backbiting and gossiping about our brothers and sisters flaws and weaknesses and think they are getting away with it. Taking sides with this one and that one as though this person is God.
We owe allegiance to no one but GOD. It's one thing to support someone in the ministry but if our support means turning our backs on our other brothers and sisters because of personal differences and conflicts and their continued friendship depends on our taking their side and going against our brothers and sisters in the Lord, something is not right.

Please hear what the Spirit is saying:

Remember the words of the apostle Paul at 1Cor 3:1-9 NKJV
"And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual [people] but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able [to receive it], and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where [there are] envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like [mere] men? [For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I [am] of Apollos," are you not carnal?

Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, [you are] God's building." 1Cor 3:1-9 NKJV

These kind of issues are going on  today, It's no different than it was in times past. The apostle Paul addressed the same issues of divisions among the brethren.  Some were saying well, I AM of Paul and another says, NO...I AM of Apollos. Oh yes, today it's the same thing.  Oh, I AM of this individual or that individual. It's not so much anymore I AM of this religion or that particular denomination...it's gotten down to INDIVIDUALS to the excluding of their fellow brethren. This person's ministry and that person's ministry. This is the work of the enemy and is not of God.

Please, I KNOW I'm imperfect and don't have ALL the answers. I admit I have made mistakes and as long as I'm in this carnal flesh I will be imperfect so why should I look for it in my brothers and sisters.  This ministry is not about tickling anyone's ears but neither am I about tearing down my brothers and sisters who don't see things exactly as I do. So I'm not looking for anyone to follow ME.  Follow God! Walk after the Holy Spirit! He doesn't change! He will  ALWAYS be  LOVE! We know the works of the flesh and the fruits of holy spirit as outlined in Galatians 5:19-26

(Gal 5:19-26 KJV) 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Causes of Divisions in the Body of Christ
It is clear from the cited scripture what the works of the flesh are. What stands out to me is fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strife, envying. This is what we can see in the church/world today and especially on any public social medium. Of course, idolatry reigns in the heart of anyone that would practice witchcraft. How so as it applies here?  Well, for one the meaning of idolatry is extreme admiration, love, or reverence for something or someone.

The meaning says it is EXTREME ADMIRATION and LOVE or REVERENCE. So we have to each examine ourselves in knowing what is extreme.  It goes beyond what is normal admiration because there's nothing wrong in someone LIKING what we put on our FB page or whatever we share in our ministry work. It's when it becomes ONLY about SELF ......LOVE ME ONLY...there's no room for anyone else...that comes out of SELFISH AMBITION which leads to envy and strife leading to hatred.

(2Cor 12:20 NIV) 20 For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.

(Phil 2:3 NIV) 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

(James 3:16 NIV) 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

Controversies cause unnecessary division and strife
These carnal tendencies manifest in various ways but the point of this blog posting is about the divisions being wedged inside the body of Christ and selfish ambitions cause division. Division is the point of the Word the Lord gave me. It is selfish ambition when we want to separate people to ourselves away from others in the body.  I'm not talking about separating from those who are clearly in violation of God's will but when we want to carve out followers to our way of thinking and turn our nose up and exclude our brothers and sisters who don't agree on issues that are not salvation issues, or are not clear cut in the scriptures and are open to personal interpretation, there you have controversial issues.

(1Ti 1:4 NIV) 4 or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God's work--which is by faith.

(Tit 3:9 NIV) 9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

Paul said to avoid such controversial endless debates on issues that divide us. I can understand his reasoning for saying that. In the above cited scripture 1Tim 1:4 Paul says some were causing problems devoting time to spreading myths that are controversial. What I find fascinating is the definition of myth. According to google online dictionary it means the following;
  1. a traditional story, especially one concerning the early history of a people or explaining some natural or social phenomenon, and typically involving supernatural beings or events.

  2. a widely held but false belief or idea.

Let God be the Judge
We will understand many things that are unclear now and are not salvation issues when we get home.  There are many ideas and teachings that are controversial in the church that are concerning the Jewish law and Jewish history and also supernatural events such as the rapture, whether it's pre-trib, post-trib, after-trib, etc etc.... Now things are not all clear but then one day soon I hope we will see and understand everything clearly.

We know from the scriptures that God is going to judge the world but he is starting with the church first. As all the watchmen sound their alarms,  that's it an alarm to warn.  But it is for God to JUDGE not us. The Word of God will convict hearts and do the judging. It's not for me to go on a witch hunt to accuse my brethren and decide who is not walking with the Lord correctly. It's one thing to speak the word unashamedly and boldly as we are supposed to do but are we to throw stones and bricks at our brothers? I'm just saying. If I'm wrong in my thinking please correct me with the Word of God.  Blessings to ALL. I LOVE you ALL!

More Scripture References:
(1Tim 1:3-7, 13-16 NIV) 3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer 4 or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God's work--which is by faith. 5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6 Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless talk. 7 They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm. ...

13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.

(Psa 7:8 NIV) 8 Let the LORD judge the peoples. Vindicate me, LORD, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High.
(Psa 51:4 NIV) 4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.

(Ecc 3:17 NIV) 17 I said to myself, "God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed."

(Isa 2:4 NIV) 4 He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

(Isa 3:13 NIV) 13 The LORD takes his place in court; he rises to judge the people.

(Isa 33:22 NIV) 22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.

(Jer 11:20 NIV) 20 But you, LORD Almighty, who judge righteously and test the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for to you I have committed my cause.

(Eze 33:20 NIV) 20 Yet you Israelites say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But I will judge each of you according to your own ways."

(Eze 34:17, 20, 22 NIV) 17 " 'As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats. ... 20 " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. ... 22 I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another.

(Joel 3:12 NIV) 12 "Let the nations be roused; let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side.

(Mat 7:1-2 NIV) 1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

(John 8:15, 50 NIV) 15 You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. ... 50 I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge.
